Macy Jane yarns are inspired by joy and aim to bring back that child-like wonder to crafting while still feeling luxurious to work with.

Our yarns are primarily made from high-quality superwash merino wool, known for its luxurious softness. We also offer blends with nylon for extra sock durability and other fibres such as Kid Silk & Mohair.

Our hand-dyed yarns should be hand washed in cold water with a gentle detergent to maintain the vibrancy and quality of colour and also protect the fabric. Gently press dry with a towel - don't wring! Lay flat to dry.

I use high-quality acid dyes for my yarns, which are specifically designed for dyeing wool and other protein fibers. These dyes offer vibrant, long-lasting colours and a wide range of shades that are difficult to achieve with natural dyes.

While natural dyes have their own unique beauty and charm, they often require more complex processes and additional mordants to fix the color, which can sometimes involve harsh chemicals. Additionally, natural dyes can be less predictable and may fade more quickly over time. By using acid dyes, I can ensure that the colours of my yarns are consistent, durable, and environmentally safe, providing you with the best quality product for your projects.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom-dyed yarns or digital products.

If your return is accepted we will give you instructions on where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
